Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 2026-05-08

1. Our commitment

We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, the international standard adopted by the EU's European Accessibility Act and referenced by Singapore's IMDA Accessible Digital Services framework.

2. Conformance status

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard. The known gaps are listed in section 3 below.

3. Known issues

We're actively working through these:

  • Treemap tiles on the /profile Timeline tab use <div> rather than <button> for click targets, so screen readers don't announce them as interactive (WCAG 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value).
  • SVG map markers on the /profile Locations panel are not yet wrapped in focusable elements, so they can't be reached with the keyboard alone (WCAG 2.1.1 Keyboard).
  • Site-wide navigation anchor links lack a visible :focus-visible state (WCAG 2.4.7 Focus Visible).
  • Print / PDF output of the /profile page has not yet been tested with assistive technology.

These items are tracked in our internal backlog and will be remediated. We'll update this page when each is closed.

4. Compatibility

This site is designed to work with:

  • The latest two major versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
  • Screen readers including VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), and TalkBack (Android).
  • Browser-level zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • Keyboard-only navigation (excepting the gaps in section 3).

We don't target browsers older than two major versions; if you use one, please update for both accessibility and security reasons.

5. Reporting a barrier

If you find an accessibility barrier on this site — something prevents you from using a part of the site with assistive technology, or our claims here don't match your experience — please tell us. We'll respond within 5 business days and aim to fix material barriers within 30 days.

Email: hello@insights-2.com. Please include the URL of the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology and browser you were using.

6. Formal complaints

If you're in the EU and not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the accessibility-enforcement body in your country. In the UK, complaints can go to the Equality Advisory and Support Service. In Singapore, the IMDA accepts feedback via imda.gov.sg.

7. Methodology

We assess this site using a combination of automated tooling (axe DevTools, Lighthouse), keyboard-only walkthroughs, and ad-hoc screen-reader spot-checks. We don't yet run a formal external audit; that's on the backlog.
